re-opens on the Tuesday after a bank holiday Monday.

Welcome To The Practice

This website gives you information about the surgery and the services provided. Our practice is dedicated to patient/client care. We aim to deliver a high quality of care to all our patients. This involves trying to ensure that we encourage you, our patients, to take full advantage of what we have to offer at our surgery. It also relies on your cooperation to use the surgery appropriately and have regard for the doctors’ and nurses’ time so they can deliver care to all their patients.

"Client" is a term increasingly used to describe users of a service, including the Health Service. The word "patient" often gives the impression that someone is suffering an illness, but doctors’ surgeries provide more than just treatment of people with illness. They offer examination, tests and advice for people who feel well but nonetheless wish to take a look at their lifestyles and have a general "check-up" - this is called Health Promotion and is about helping people to prevent the onset of illnesses such as coronary heart disease and diabetes. We can offer advice and help to encourage a healthier lifestyle, helping you to keep yourself fit and get the most out of your valuable life. We regard this as a very important part of our jobs.
